Abstract

Eileen Chang’s known as a literary scholar, but her identity as a female translator is little known and her translations are rarely mentioned. The yYearling as one of her famous translations has less relevant research. From a feminist perspective and based on feminist translation theory, this study examines the feminism in Eileen Chang’s translation of The Yearling, and analyses the influence of her feminist ideas on the translation, with a view to adding to the study of feminist literary works.
