Abstract


With the promotion of the new curriculum reform, the training requirements for students are improved, which requires
teachers not only to stress students’ training in subject knowledge, but also to promote their overall development, and to improve
the value of subject teaching. English subject is an important educational subject. It is of great significance for students to enter
the society in the future which could effectively enable them to carry out English learning and develop English ability in higher
vocational colleges. Teaching evaluation is also an important part of subject teaching. For the college English teaching in vocational
colleges, teachers can effectively construct a diversified evaluation system for English teaching, which can help them effectively
analyze the teaching progress and teaching benefits and improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching. This paper analyzes the
construction of a diversified evaluation system for college English teaching in higher vocational colleges, in order to effectively
improve the effectiveness of college English teaching evaluation and promote the development of students’ comprehensive English
ability.
